Savannah: “I love Aaron Sorkin. I would absolutely have his baby.”
Me: “You should. It’d be cancelled after eight months anyway.”
So, I’m downloading Series One of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and – you know what? – it’s really good. Not West Wing good, but certainly Sports Night good. But I’m finding it almost impossible to really get into it, knowing that it’s already been cancelled.
I’m experiencing a similar thing with Fridaycities. We’re working really hard on the new version of the site and it’s really going to be something special. But in the meantime, the old site continues to go from strength to strength. Traffic is increasing each week, registered users are up and up, and we’re getting more and more press. And yet, it’s hard to be enthusiastic about the old site when the new one looks so damned good.
So, yes, sorry for the light blogging of late. Busy, busy. But, oh boy, it’s going to be good when it’s finished. And I’m not talking Sports Night good.
