…that I would write a proper Vox post about if I had a tiny bit more time. All a bit manic at the moment. Hopefully this week will bring with it a tiny bit of breathing space to catch up with blogging. Hopefully.

Let’s go!

1) We’ve gone public. The Friday Project Ltd is now a Friday Project Media Plc company. Clare and I now wear suits and smoke cigars.

2) We have two – TWO – new members of the team. Firstly, Clare Weber has joined us from Hodder as Assistant Editor. If we take any more of their people, they’re going to issue a Fatwa. Clare has the same first name as Clare, which is very confusing.

3) Mary Thompson has joined us to sell rights. And very good at it she is too.

4) The first three Popjustice Idols books are now available in the shops. They look absolutely bloody amazing. Look out for them on the counter of your nearest Waterstones and in hugely prominent positions in all other good bookshops.

5) We’re going to have a stand at the Frankfurt book fair. Our first stand!

6) In the next few days we’re formally announcing another huge chunk of our 2006 catalogue. Titles already leaked include ‘Blood, Sweat and Tea’, based on the award winning Random Acts of Reality and The Bumper B3ta Book of Sick Jokes.

7) We’re worried that The Bumper B3ta Book Of Sick Jokes is going to get the office firebombed. But all publicity is good publicity, right?

8) What’s got four legs and goes “Wooooof!”?

9) Piper Alpha

10) And that’s a mild one

More next – er – this week. I’m going home to eat some oven chips.
