(Update: John Lettice has just emailed, in response to the below promising that the total bullshit about Sarah 2.0 will be cut from the piece.
In fact, there’s even an apology now. An apology! How did she get mixed up in all of this anyway? Oh yes, that’s right, Orlowski. Sorry about that Sarah. Still, small victories, eh?)
…
Ok, now I’m really annoyed…

Andrew,
What in the name of Christ is this….

…?
Advertorial? Flogging? Promoter? You’ll see clearly from the email below that I asked whether the Reg might be interested in publishing some extracts of the British edition of Sarah Lacy’s book for free, as you did with mine. I was trying to do the Register a favour, from which I would personally benefit not one jot. Don’t you fucking dare lie and accuse me of writing advertorial or of trying to sell you anything.
How you can criticise *anything* anyone does when you lack even the most basic fact checking skills beggars belief.
Also, what the fuck is wrong with you? You still can’t bring yourself to acknowledge that you were wrong to do a hatchet job of a charity event and instead you’re flailing around like a loon and taking the Register’s credibility down with you. Until now this was between me and you. Is it now between the Register and me? If not, I expect a correction on that piece. And you still owe Twestival an apology.
Christ, man, you owe journalism an apology.
And when that’s coming from me, you know it’s time to stop digging. You’ve reached rock bottom.
Paul
