So, prompted by my soy-filled Blackberry (and by reading the Four Hour Work Week), I finally got around to streamlining my myriad communication methods. It was just getting ridiculous.

All my mail is now forwarding to a single account and I’ve set up Skype properly for all things voice and chat. If you’re my friend on Facebook then the number listed on my profile under landline (or the username under ‘Skype’) is now by far the best (if not the only) way to voice-contact me while travelling. If you’re not my friend on Facebook then, to be frank, you probably have no business calling me.

I’ll aim to check Skype once a day when I’m offline and I’ll call you back if you’ve left me a voicemail.

As for email – use whatever address you have for me as long as it ends in either alljustwords.com or googlemail.com.

I guess I’ll probably get round to sorting out a new handset soon but given that it costs me a billion pounds to receive calls out here, I’m in no rush. Skype is the future, baby.

Housekeeping ends.

Tomorrow, SXSW!
