So here it is Merry Christmas eve eve. I’m supposed to be going home to my parents’ place in Newark later this morning to enjoy four – count ‘em – days of home cooking and merriment. I plan to do absolutely no work at all for those four days but, given that everyone I’ve told that to has laughed, you can probably expect a blog post or two.
I say ’supposed to be’ as I haven’t actually booked my train ticket yet so there’s a very real chance I’ll be stuck here. Or that I’ll have to walk.
I’m in the Bookseller today, it seems, courtesy of Katherine ‘master of leaving the difficult question right until the end of the interview when you’re least expecting it’ Rushton; announcing the launch of Much Too Fun.
To mark the occasion I thought I’d better get my shit together and finally launch some kind of web presence. Here it is. I think ‘pure’ is the word you’re looking for. Given that it was the Friday Project Christmas Drinks Party Thing (and launch of The Blog Digest 2006) last night, it’s a wonder I even had the strength to do that.
Right, bed. I have a long walk tomorrow.
