You find me at the end of not one, but two, entirely self-imposed but still no-less-traumatic-for-it deadlines. My brain is friend and my body clock looks like the work of Dali. And yet, so much still to do!
Next up, while I eat my lunch, is an email Q&A for Waterstones.com – including such questions as ‘which book has made you cry?’. It’s not clear if they mean to write or to read but it should be fun anyway.
But first, some news…
Thursday is already shaping up to be a busy day in London.com land, with Saul Klein’s Open Coffee in the morning (10am-noonish, Waterstone’s Piccadilly) and the Moo.com Summer Party in the evening (6pm, New venue! Vibe Bar, Brick Lane) but what of the six hour gap between?
Robert Loch and me to the rescue…
Ahoy there!
The weather on Thursday is forecast to be beautifully sunny and 27 Degrees. This is probably the only week that will be hot this summer. You need a good reason to leave the office – and we are here to help. So…

Paul Carr, author of Bringing Nothing to the Party – True Confessions of a New Media Whore ( http://www.bringingnothing.com ), which is a book about the London Internet startup scene that will be published on the 31st July.
INVITE YOU to a one off special afternoon mixer on the top outside deck of the Queen Mary Boat, by Waterloo Bridge. This fabulous event will be held from 2pm until 6pm this Thursday. We are inviting a whole range of interesting people from London’s internet sector – and because it is an afternoon jolly – all the best people will be there. Do not miss out and please feel free to bring guests if they work in the Internet sector.
We really hope that you join us for what promises to be a hugely enjoyable and valuable afternoon. If you do intend on coming, can you please rsvp so that we have an idea of numbers, because we don’t want to sink the boat.
